The situation

Something is wrong in Greybluffs.

You are devoted to Scytha, goddess of death and of rebirth. Your order lives in a fortified castle on a mountainside, and the person each of you looks up to most is Balian, the Knight of Roses.

Two months ago the Order sent him to recover a legendary sword, lost for a hundred years. A month ago his reports stopped.

The trail ends in Greybluffs, a mountain town that has gone quiet. Travelers are turned away at the gate by nightfall. Locals won't meet your eyes. And after dark, strange lights drift through the woods. Nobody remembers seeing them before.
